Online US and UK Apple Stores Out of iPhones

So, if you point your browser over to the Apple Store iPhone page, it shows that both the 8GB and 16GB iPhones are listed as “Currently Unavailable”. In recent weeks, is used to read, “Ships in 1-2 Weeks”, but this no longer seems to be the case. However, it does appear that you can still purchase a phone directly from AT&T Wireless. Does this really mean that the release of a new iPhone is imminent? Apple loves to keep things mysterious, don’t they? Hmm…
